Faceless

 - I picked this image over the other because i liked the selective focus, I liked how the subject is over to the side using the rule of thirds to add to the image.  I also like how to cup gives some leading lines to his face and eye.

 - I asked the subject to pretend to drink out of the cup, i set the focal point to one of the crossings of the divided composition (rule of thirds crossing point).

 - I think the crispness of the focus stands out over anything the bottom of the cup to his hand is in crisp tight focus while most of the photo is out of focus.

 - The leading lines allow you to move around the picture creating more meaning and depth to the photo.

 - I would give this photo the title of "Just One Sip"
